Individual Monitoring
Since March 3, 2020, 2,944 positive test results have been reported by hospital and community laboratories in the region.
Community Surveillance
SOS Médecins: 1,079 cases of suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 residents in week 14, compared to 992 in week 13 of 2020.
Sentinelles Network: 11,054 (tele)consultations for acute respiratory infections per 100,000 inhabitants in week 14, compared to 11,375 in week 13 of 2020.
LABM (3 labs): 23.0% positive test results in week 14.
Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes
1,110 cases, including 71 deaths reported as of April 7, 2020
Hospital surveillance
Oscour® Network: 1,193 visits for suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 inhabitants in week 14, compared to 967 in week 13 of 2020.
Hospital laboratories: 32.8% of tests were positive in week 14.
Sentinel intensive care units: 53.2% of cases were aged 65 and older, the sex ratio was 2.1, and 63.8% of cases had at least one risk factor, the most common being type 1 or 2 diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and lung disease.
Mortality Surveillance
In the Indre department, in week 13, observed mortality exceeded the threshold for excess mortality. However, this excess remains very close to the upper limit.
