Viral circulation remains most intense among those aged 65 and older, particularly in the Nord department (estimated IT of 713 cases per 100,000 inhabitants)
Decrease in healthcare utilization for suspected COVID-19 in outpatient settings and hospitals, against a backdrop of a sharp increase in acute respiratory infections (Sentinel Network)
Vaccination coverage among the most vulnerable (over 60 years old) (34.5%), who are eligible for a second booster, remains too low
Among the BA.5 sublineages (88.8% of sequences in the Flash S41 survey), BQ.1.1 has seen a rapid increase in the Hauts-de-France region.
