Prevention of Sexual Violence: A Review of Effective Interventions.

How can sexual violence be prevented? The body of scientific knowledge, drawn in particular from existing programs, points to the following recommendations: addressing the social, behavioral, and environmental factors that contribute to this violence; and, in particular, focusing on reducing risk factors while strengthening protective factors to prevent acts of violence from occurring.
