Nationally and across regions, activity at SOS Médecins clinics has remained stable compared to previous weeks, across all age groups. This activity is comparable to that of 2012 for the same period. The influenza indicator is on the rise (+10%, +74 weekly cases). This increase affects children under 5 years of age (+81%, +46 cases) and adults aged 15 to 74 (+10%, +54 cases). Activity related to this indicator is comparable to that of 2011 and 2012. Pneumonia cases are on the rise across all age groups (+21%, +77 cases); all age groups are affected by this increase. Activity related to pneumonia is comparable to that of 2011 and 2012. Among children under 2 years of age, bronchiolitis is on the rise (+28%, +102 cases). Activity related to this indicator is comparable to that of 2011 and lower than that of 2012. Activity related to gastroenteritis is on the rise across all age groups (+16%, +559 cases), with all age groups affected by this increase. Case numbers are comparable to those of 2012. Diagnoses of bronchitis are stable across all age groups. However, an increase is noted among children under 5 years of age (+16%, +137 cases) and those aged 75 and older (+13%, +33 cases). Activity related to this condition is comparable to that of 2012. Calls to SOS Médecins for asthma attacks are stable across all age groups. An increase is observed among children under 5 years of age (+20%, +49 cases). Activity related to this indicator remains higher than in 2011 and 2012. The main conditions reported across all age groups are nasopharyngitis (5,332 cases), lower respiratory tract infections (2,282 cases), and gastroenteritis (4,010 cases). Among children under 15, ear infections are on the rise (+11%, +304 cases).
