Key Points

  • In Week 17 (April 20–26, 2026), activity at SOS Médecins clinics decreased among children aged 2–14 (-7%, or 1,149 fewer visits) and remained stable in other age groups.
  • There was an increase in cases, at levels comparable to previous years, for:
    • Insect bites (+20%, or +87 cases) across all ages,
    • Allergies in children (+10%, or +57 cases) and those aged 15–74 (+16%, or +228 cases),
    • Chickenpox among those aged 15–74 (+47%, or +22 cases) and children under 2 (+9%, or +19 cases),
    • Isolated fever in those aged 75 and older (+53%, or +16 visits),
    • Vomiting among children under 2 years old (+25%, or +13 cases).
  • In addition, procedures for trauma are on the rise across all age groups (+9%, or +346 procedures), remaining at levels higher than in previous years, particularly among adults.
