Description of the body mass of the populations of Guadeloupe and Martinique based on the Kannari study for use in health risk assessment
Health risk assessment requires the use of human exposure variables (HEVs), also known as exposure factors (EFs), during the exposure characterization stage. To ensure that the results are more specific to the population under study, it is necessary to use population-specific data. Currently, there are no morphological and anthropometric data available for the populations of Guadeloupe and Martinique in terms of human exposure variables; most data for French populations are available only for mainland France. It is proposed to use the anthropometric data from the Kannari study collected between 2013 and 2014. The results are presented here to enable their use by risk assessors (results by school age group for children and results for men and women analyzed separately and combined).
