COVID-19

Guadeloupe:

• the decline in virological indicators that began in S20 continued into S21;

• incidence and positivity rates decreased against a backdrop of declining testing rates. The effective R value of 0.78—95% CI [0.74–0.81], significantly below 1 over the seven-day rolling period from May 22 to 28—followed the same trend. However, these indicators remain high, and SARS-CoV-2 continues to circulate actively throughout the archipelago. The highest incidence rates were recorded among those aged 30–39 and 40–49 for the second consecutive week;

• At the hospital, the situation was relatively stable; however, a decrease in new hospitalizations across all departments was observed in S-21.

Saint Martin:

• In week 21, positivity and incidence rates declined amid a corresponding decrease in testing;

• In hospitals, emergency room visits for COVID-19 increased slightly. One new hospital admission was recorded. No deaths in Saint Martin have been recorded in SIVIC since Week 06.

Saint-Barthélemy:

• In Week 21, the number of new SARS-CoV-2 infections and the positivity rate remained stable, with testing activity also remaining stable.

• At the hospital, the situation has remained calm since the resurgence of the epidemic observed in S12.
