Key Points

COVID-19

  • The regional testing rate continues to decline. The increase in the positivity rate is less pronounced than in previous weeks. In this context, in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, SARS-CoV-2 viral circulation continues to rise. The incidence rate is estimated at 73 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (which is lower than the national rate: 84 per 100,000 inhabitants).

  • At the subregional level, departmental incidence rates range from 63 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in Haute-Saône to 87 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in Doubs, and positivity rates range from 13.6% in Saône-et-Loire to 18.6% in Jura. Doubs has the most unfavorable situation, with indicators at levels similar to those observed in France.

Influenza

  • Flu activity (all ages) remains at epidemic levels

  • Activity at SOS Médecins clinics and in emergency departments is decreasing

  • 46 severe influenza cases admitted to intensive care reported by the intensive care sentinel network

  • 53 reports of clusters of acute respiratory infections in long-term care facilities since early October 2022

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Activity (all ages) at SOS Médecins clinics is increasing slightly and is above the levels observed during previous seasons at the same time

  • Emergency department activity is decreasing and remains below the levels observed during last season
