Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation
Conclusions for Guadeloupe: Arbovirus activity (dengue and chikungunya) in Guadeloupe has been very low over the past two months. The indicators collected from both community healthcare settings and hospitals are very low. They are well below the expected peak values for dengue.
Conclusions for MartiniqueMartinique is experiencing a particularly calm situation regarding the circulation of arboviruses (dengue and chikungunya). All epidemiological surveillance indicators are at very low levels, and no significant activity has been identified over the past two months in the various municipalities of the department.
Conclusions for Saint MartinDengueThe circulation of dengue viruses remains moderate in Saint Martin, although a slight increase in consultations was recorded in late May 2015. This trend was not confirmed during the month of June.
ChikungunyaThe weekly number of consultations for suspected chikungunya is at its lowest level in several weeks. Since June 8, no consultations have been recorded for acute cases of the disease.
Conclusions for Saint Barthélemy: Arbovirus activity (dengue and chikungunya) in Saint Barthélemy has remained very low over the past two months. The circulation of these viruses was very sporadic during May and nonexistent in June.
