Evaluation of the management of a severe outbreak of foodborne illness in private practice: the case of an outbreak in Douai in June 1993

Following an outbreak of foodborne illness in Douai in June 1993, a survey was conducted among general practitioners in the region to describe and evaluate their diagnostic, prescribing, and medication practices, as well as the main difficulties they encountered (particularly issues regarding the timeliness of personal information and communication with the Departmental Directorate of Health and Social Affairs (D.D.A.S.S.)).
